The kids and I headed down to SLC for the beginning part
of our spring break.
The first day we went downtown to the
Childrens Church Museum,
the new mall City Creek and Temple Square.
It was a blast!
At the museum the kids got to dress up in full Hispanic skirts
and learned how to dance and twirl.
and learned how to dance and twirl.
The girls loved it and would've danced the day away if we let them.
Next they tested their strength at lifting the brass plates.
They both failed.
They took their time in assembling a temple out of these life sized blocks.
Sweetie Kate enjoyed planting a garden and picking vegetables.
They all set sail to the promised land!
............................................................
While at the mall Rachel and Bria decided to pierce their ears.
They were both so brave and look absolutely beautiful!
...........................................................
At Temple Square the grounds were all ready for Conference
so they were beautiful and in full bloom.
A perfect picture spot!
The old tabernacle was open to walk through and
the kids thought it was awesome.
the kids thought it was awesome.
To top off a perfect day we visited the Visitors Center at Temple Square.
It was so peaceful. We were the only ones there.
Aubrie was in awe of the circular walkway
going up to the Christus statue, and
Caleb was touched by the spirit and told me
that he felt like Jesus was looking right at him.
.....................................................
One night we met up with my Mom's sisters and my cousin for dinner.
It has been a long time since we have seen each other.
It was great being able to talk with them!
