McCall Getaway

Lyric and I planned a long weekend getaway. Being the great friend she is she located this awesome vacation house for us to rent located just a block from the lake. It also had a hot tub, foosball table and enough room for all of us to have fun and be comfortable.

First and foremost foosball tournaments were a must! 

The little girls had fun going out in the backyard and picking wildflowers - 

except for the fact that the homeowner warned us of a local
Mama bear and cub! Yikes!

That was enough to scare Aubrie into staying safely in the
comforts of the house but with Lyrics reassurance she was
brave enough to venture outdoors. 

Here is a picture of some of the flowers they picked. 

They came in with arms full of gorgeous flowers.

We finally decided to take our boat out into the water for the
first time since we moved here
(which by the way has been 2 1/2 years). 

We had a great time and were 

thrilled to be spending that time together again.

We went skiing, wake boarding, cliff jumping and swimming!

Here is Lyric on her itty bitty little ledge working up the nerve to jump! 

Literally she stood on that rock for a good 10 plus minutes. 

At least she looked good doing it!

We started every morning and ended every evening in the hot tub. 

We loved every minute in McCall and hope to go back real soon.
