For Caleb's birthday this year we did a
"Late Night Camp Out"
in our backyard.

Everyone was asked to come prepared with a camp chair,
bug spray and an empty stomach!

First things first - he needed to receive his present from Mom and Dad.
His very own Tether-ball!
Let the crazy, rambunctiousness, boys-torus party begin -
the night started out with a weenie roast for dinner
accompanied by chips, watermelon and soda.

While waiting for the sun to go down the boys enjoyed
a few games of football and softball.

and whats a party full of boys if they don't have a giant

Next it was gift giving time -
Ice cream isn't really a camping activity but we have a really fun recipe
where you kick the can and it makes delicious ice cream so we
decided to include that into the party planning.
Here is a few pictures of the kids teamed up
kicking, rolling and sometimes throwing the can back and forth.

(The boys were so nice to let Aubrie join in the fun!)
To end the night we enjoyed a movie under the stars and what would
a camp out be without SMORES.

It turned out to be a great Birthday and party for my amazing little boy.
(Well not so little anymore!)
