Homer is about a 2 hour drive south for us. The views are just spectacular and so we keep posting them. These pictures were taken by a friend, Louisa Jones. Also, each winter, many bald eagles congregate in Homer as one woman has continued to receive special permission to feed them.

The days are finally starting to grow longer here in Soldotna. And, the days have been just beautiful lately! It has been clear, sunny, and cold!!! It was -27 degrees on the way to work this morning.
